Updated March 22: Both 13-year-old girls were found in Pāhoa in good health on March 22.

Original post: Authorities are renewing their request for the public’s help in locating two teens, both of whom are considered endangered.

The first teenager, 13-year-old Arieana Balbin of Kurtistown, was last seen on March 10, around 9 p.m. in the 1700 block of Kino‘ole Street in Hilo. She is considered endangered because of her age, according to Hawai‘i Police Department.

Arieana was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a green hoodie. She is known to frequent Hilo areas, such as Banyan Drive and a retail shopping center in the 100 block of Puainako Street.

Arieana is described as Polynesian with a fair complexion and a thin build, 4 feet 6 inches tall, 90 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The second teen, 13-year-old Kailea Kekipi of Hilo, was last seen in the 1100 block of Waianuenue Avenue in Hilo, on March 10 at 2:20 p.m. She is also considered endangered.

Kekipi wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and silver-colored hoop earrings. She is described as Asian/Hawaiian, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Arieana Balbin or Kailea Kekipi is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311. In Kailea’s case, the public can also report her whereabouts to Officer Aaron Abalos at [email protected].
