Fair Lawn Overnight Burglaries Reported on Morlot and Maple Avenue
FAIR LAWN, NJ - Two overnight burglaries occurred in the borough with the suspect taking a total of $222, according to police. At approximately midnight, June 12, there was a burglary at 22-28 Morlot Avenue, Fair Lawn News, where the front glass was broken and $22.22 was taken from the register.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER About 24 minutes later, there was another break-in through the front glass of Puff City, 24-18 Maple Avenue, where police say $200 was stolen out of the register. UPDATE Williamsbridge: Female Suspect Arrested after Woman 37 is Fatally Slashed
Police have arrested a 32-year-old woman following the fatal stabbing of a second 37-year-old woman from Mt. Vernon in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx, a department spokesperson said on Wednesday. Police had been appealing to the public to help locate the woman seen in the attached photo, who they had identified as 32-year-old Jalessa Richardson, in connection with the incident.
