Woman allegedly shoots boyfriend in his Festus home
A domestic dispute ended with a woman shooting a boyfriend with a handgun Sept. 24 in Festus, according to the Festus Police Department. Festus Police Chief Doug Wendel said officers responded early Sept. 24 to a call about the shooting in the 800 block of Huber Street. The victim, 42, lives at the residence and his girlfriend, 40, lives in rural Festus, he said.

Fall Harvest Fest at State Park

Three died, including a 64-year-old House Springs woman, in a Franklin County crash Sunday, Sept. 24, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. At 9:55 a.m. in St. Clair, Tina E. Degonia of House Springs was allegedly traveling the wrong direction on westbound I-44 in a 2020 Jeep Cherokee and struck Sabrina H. Sutton, 26, of Fishers, Ind., in a 2017 Nissan Rogue, Aleah R. Bingham, 21, of Kirkwood in a 2010 Toyota Corolla and Julie A. Witherspoon, 59, of Shell Knob in a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the report said.
Two men allegedly fight, pull out guns at Eureka Burger King
Eureka Police have forwarded a report about a fight between a fast-food restaurant manager and the husband of one of the restaurant’s employees to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Arnold rec center indoor pool set to re-open Monday
The Arnold Recreation Center’s indoor pool is scheduled to re-open on Monday, Oct. 2, Parks and Recreation Department deputy director Ajsa Hukic said.
