Truck Pull Video: 6000 lb Two Wheel Drive Trucks at Buckwild at Westminster MD. Standing On The Bumper On Dirt!
Truck and tractor pull events are fun to watch. I mean who doesn’t like big noise, dirt flying, and in the case of two wheel drive rigs, wheels up in the air. Nothing pulls cooler wheelies on the dirt than the two wheel drive truck classes, and in this video from Buckwild you’ll see 6,000 pound trucks doing just that. These trucks can have either a maximum 600 cubic inch naturally aspirated combo, or a maximum 475 cubic inch blower combo. Both sound fun and different, so check out the video below.
Gettysburg Brass Band Festival presents The Wise Guys
The Wise Guys will be making its first appearance at the 2024 Gettysburg Brass Band Festival on Saturday, June 8th at 3:00 p.m. Founded in 2002, The Wise Guys began as a traditional brass ensemble, and when the University of Virgina at Wise began to offer a music major in 2007, the group narrowed its focus morphing into a tuba-euphonium ensemble. The group is open to anyone who plays tuba or euphonium performing repertoire that includes arrangements customized by its leader, Professor Rick Galyean, director of bands at the UVA-Wise.
