One arrested after drug overdose call at Woodstock hotel
WOODSTOCK, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A man is in custody after authorities responded to a reported drug overdose at a Woodstock hotel. Sheriff Tim Carter stated that deputies with the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office, as well as officers with Woodstock Police, responded Sunday to the overdose in a room at the Econo Lodge.
Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office makes arrest after fentanyl pills were found in hotel room
SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) - The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office has charged a man after finding more than 50 capsules of fentanyl in his hotel room. On May 12, the sheriff’s office was called to the Econo Lodge in Woodstock for a report of an overdose. After obtaining a search warrant, investigators searched the room the following day. That’s when they found more than 50 capsules containing suspected powder fentanyl and a cell phone.
