Birthday Suit Incident Lands Hialeah Man in Trouble at Florida Keys Resort

Key Largo, FL - A Hialeah man's bizarre behavior during his birthday celebration at a Florida Keys resort led to his arrest for indecent exposure after he was seen in a hot tub engaging in inappropriate behavior.

Deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) arrested Julio Daniel Rodriguez Coipel on Monday on a warrant stemming from an incident that occurred on August 20th.

According to MCSO spokesperson Adam Linhardt, Rodriguez Coipel was seen naked shortly before 7:25 a.m. in the hot tub at the Playa Resort & Spa, located at 97450 Overseas Highway in Key Largo.

Witnesses observed Rodriguez Coipel exposing and engaging in inappropriate behavior in the presence of a female employee.

When confronted by a male employee, Rodriguez Coipel's reportedly exclaimed, "It's my birthday today!" before fleeing towards U.S. 1 and eventually driving back to Miami-Dade County.

Following eyewitness accounts that identified Rodriguez Coipel as the suspect, authorities issued a warrant for his arrest.

He was booked into the Monroe County jail on Monday on a charge of indecent exposure.
