Hershey Bears advance in the Calder Cup playoffs
A full house — full of energy, excitement, and hope that our Bears could pull it out.
And they did. But no matter what, the people here were all about to have a good time.
Hundreds of Bears fans, near and far, came to the Hummesltown Arooga's to see Friday night's game.
"It's been a while since we made it here but it's exciting to have everyone around in one spot to cheer on our Bears,” said Bears fan Liz Markley.
Markley was in West Virginia for college but tonight she and her family are one of many in a booth hoping for a Bears win.
Speaking of Bears, a foot away, Coco was drumming up excitement.
But most didn't need the extra help getting pepped up.
"We're going to punch our ticket for the finals. We don't want to come back for Game 7. We want to come home for the championship for the finals,” said Bears fan Hector Dieppa.
Between the actions happening in the game, there were some fun activities too.
Host Jim Jones even took a moment to show WGAL some love too.
"That is coverage you can count on! They do a great job. We've got to give a shoutout to Pat Principe. Jeremy, you guys, thanks so much,” Jones said.
While it's obvious everyone is hoping for a win, there's one more thing the staff is looking forward to.
"We're hoping for the after-party after the game. It's a standing bar. They're going to come out here and have fun, listen to music,” said district manager of Arooga's, Michael Frock.
Much of the crowd isn't going anywhere! They are ready for that after-party!
