The New York Lottery announced Wednesday a top-prize-winning ticket for Tuesday night's drawing was sold in the Rochester area.

The ticket, worth $35,953, was sold at Joe's Kwik Marts at the corner of East Henrietta and Lehigh Station roads in Henrietta.

The winner's identity has not been announced.

The prize may be claimed at any point up to one year after the drawing.
