Ribbon cut for new neurosurgery practice in Owensboro

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A new neurosurgery practice has been opened in Owensboro.

For the first time Owensboro Health will have a practicing neurosurgery doctor. The new branch was celebrated with a ribbon cutting and applause from staff.

“At Owensboro Health, we are committed to providing our community with access to the most advanced treatment options and personalized care, close to home. That’s why we are thrilled to announce the opening of Owensboro Health Neurosurgery and the addition of an on-staff neurosurgeon to our organization for the first time,” said Mark Marsh, president and CEO of Owensboro Health.

Dr. Adrian Smith will lead the new practice. The Owensboro Health neurosurgery practice is opened and ready for appointments to be scheduled.
