1h agoAn alleged member of the MS-13 gang member has been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for murder in connection to a pair of shootings in Hempstead.
Denis Guiterrez-Marcos pleaded guilty in February to charges including murder.
The Nassau County district attorney says the 20-year-old fatally shot the driver of a taxicab minivan in September 2020.
A month later, authorities say Guiterrez-Marcos says he fired at least one shot into a group, which hit two people.
Both victims survived.
