From Pool Cleaning to Pool Design: Over 20 Years Making a Splash in Clermont
In 2004, Doug Cowley stood at a crossroads. With a background in pool cleaning, he found himself yearning to create something more substantial and enduring. Thus, A Plus Pool Design was born, a business that has since evolved from basic maintenance into a full-fledged custom pool construction company in Clermont, Florida. For Doug, the transition from cleaning pools to designing and building them was a natural progression. "I wanted to build pools," he recalls, reflecting on his desire to create something tangible and lasting. This ambition set the stage for what would become A Plus Pool Design’s signature offering—custom pool construction that goes beyond the initial build to encompass long-term customer support. What sets A Plus Pool Design apart in a competitive market is not just the pools they build, but the relationships they cultivate. Doug emphasizes the importance of being there for his customers long after the water has settled in the new pool. "We continue to support customers with service and any questions that come up later," he notes. This commitment to ongoing service ensures that clients feel valued and supported, fostering a level of trust that has become the cornerstone of Doug's business philosophy.
