First snow of the season recorded on Mount Washington

The summit of New Hampshire's Mount Washington​ saw its first measurable snow of the season Monday.

First Alert Weather: After first frost for some, temps quickly rebound !

A northwesterly flow continues to send cooler air our way; this is the focus of our Next Big Thing as temperatures by early tomorrow morning drop to their chilliest levels since late May! Because inland areas could experience their first frost of the season, tomorrow is a *First Alert Weather Day* (this is where a Frost Advisory has been issued). After tomorrow morning, temperatures rebound quickly. Also, a dry stretch will last through the end of the week, and into the weekend. For the Hartford Marathon (and all of their races) on Saturday, the weather looks great as it will be dry and cool with a light wind! Sunday, we could stay dry through most of the daylight hours but we’ll see increasing cloudiness ahead of some wet weather on the way for Monday.
