The Hazleton Integration Project celebrated 10 years with a community festival today.

They set up different activities and entertainment on East Fourth Street to celebrate their anniversary with a couple of vendors and organizations also taking part.

The organization helps underserved children and families through different programs including English classes, after school programs and citizenship classes.

“And so we are saying basically, thank you to the community, this is our gift to you, this celebration and it really has been a community effort," said Bob Curry, Founding President of the Hazleton Integration Project.

They are working on tackling food insecurity and making a food pantry and are preparing for their summer camp.
