Three people involved in a major crash on State Road 100, near Sipprell Road, were airlifted to the hospital with injuries, according to Putnam County Fire Rescue. Fire Rescue posted the crash on Facebook shortly after 4 p.m. Three trauma alerts were declared and several people were trapped, according to the Putnam Fire Rescue's Facebook Page.

In Gainesville, Florida, there were three incidents of shootings this week. One man turned himself in to the police after shooting and killing someone. Four people were shot in two separate incidents, with one fatality. Another man was arrested for shooting at his ex-girlfriend's car on the highway.
