2 sewage spills in Cordele ended on Monday
CORDELE, Ga. (WALB) - The city of Cordele made an announcement on Facebook about two sewage spills that have ended as of Monday, April 15. The spills were at Gum Creek and Frontage Road and started on Friday, April 12 at around 9 a.m. Both spills were caused by excessive rainfall in the area that led to raw sewage and stormwater overflowing. Monitoring for both spills started on Saturday, March 13.
