20-year-old woman charged with domestic violence on Big Island
Cherish Anela Torres, 20 of Pāhoa, has been arrested and charged with domestic-related offenses following a 3 a.m. verbal argument that turned violent. On May 23, according to police, Torres and the victim were stopped in a vehicle at the intersection of Ohiki Street and Puni Makai Loop in Pāhoa. Torres reportedly pulled the keys out of the ignition, sat on top of the victim’s lap and struck him multiple times with a closed handed fist to the top of his head.
