HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - An August 14 trial is set for 18-year-old Connor Black-Lintz, accused of kicking and spitting on a state trooper and kicking and headbutting a Hastings police officer.

This happened while officers were in the process of arresting Black-Lintz for making a threat against Sandy Creek schools April 4. Black-Lintz is charged with felony third degree assault on a police officer and misdemeanor resisting arrest, third degree assault and assault with a bodily fluid.

Adams County Court records indicate Law enforcement officers approached Black-Lintz at his Hastings home after the threat at the Sandy Creek school and Black-Lintz resisted officer’s attempts to handcuff him. After he was handcuffed, Black-Lintz is accused of hitting, kicking and spitting on a state trooper. He also allegedly head-butted a Hastings police officer and allegedly threatened to kill the officers and shoot them and their vehicles.

Black-Lintz is also charged in Clay County with terroristic threats. He’s accused of sending a threatening message on social media which prompted Sandy Creek Schools to go into lockdown April 4. A hearing on that case is scheduled in Clay County June 13.
