Docking Building developers say mold discovered, quickly eliminated
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Developers working on the Docking Building tell 13 NEWS a potential mold problem was quickly found and resolved. Hutton Builds says non-toxic mold growth discovered in mid-March was cleared by licensed professionals by the following month. Hutton Builds points to heavy rains following January’s extreme cold as the most likely factors behind the mold’s growth. That’s right when demolition on the old building wrapped up.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A gas line repair requires a lane closure on a portion of SE 21st St. in Topeka, Kan. According to the City of Topeka, NPL is performing a gas line repair starting Thursday, May 9 on SE 21st St. from SE Adams St. to about 600 feet east of SE Indiana Ave. This requires a lane reduction for eastbound traffic along the curb line.
