Barger wins for second week in a row at I-90

Madison’s Nate Barger and the “Point Bar #98” came up from the seventh spot to win the Spielman Excavating IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars on Saturday night, at I-90 Speedway in Hartford. It was the 2nd win in as many weekends for Barger at 1-90. Elliot Ammdahl of Flandreau finished 3rd, Nick Barger of Madison finished 7th.

In the First Interstate Bank Late Model Street Stocks, it was Cory Yeigh of Sioux Falls taking the checkered flag. Madison’s Matt Steuewald finished 4th. 

Derek Van Veldhuizen of Rock Rapids won the USRA B-Modifieds, and James Adams of Harrisburg took first in the USRA Hobby Stocks. 

This Saturday’s races at I-90 Speedway will include “Gunderson Racing Midwest Sprint Touring Series” and “QualityFreightRate.com Midwest Power Series”, for 360 sprint car action. The four divisions of the RPM Race Series will be held as well.
