    All-stars to participate in softball game benefiting fallen FCT Pelletier’s family

    HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Dunkin’ Park Saturday will host a softball game to benefit the family of fallen Trooper First Class Aaron Pelletier.

    The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Dunkin’ Park, 1214 Main St. in Hartford. Doors open at 2 p.m.

    The all-stars slated to appear include:

    • Rob Dibble, Cincinnati Reds
    • Ashley Battle, WNBA New York Liberty & Boston Celtics scout
    • Tom Thibodeau, New York Knicks head coach
    • Shane Spencer, New York Yankees
    • Tebucky Jones, New England Patriots
    • John Pierson, WTNH
    • Jordan Reed, Washington Commanders
    • Scott Burrell, UConn coach & Chicago Bulls
    Procession held for trooper killed in hit-and-run on Interstate 84 in Southington

    There will also be a silent auction with autographed memorabilia.

    Pelletier, 34, was killed in the line of duty in a hit-and-run on Interstate 84 in Southington on May 30.

    Tickets for the softball game can be found on the Hartford Yard Goats website .
