3 Olympic all-around gold medalists to compete at 2024 Core Hydration Classic in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – The 2024 Core Hydration Classic is happening Friday in Hartford and will feature multiple Olympic gold medalists.

The weekend competition helps set the stage for the Olympic trials in Minneapolis and is the final opportunity for women to qualify for the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Championship in Fort Worth, Texas.

Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas and Suni Lee are registered to compete at the competition this weekend, making it the first time in history that the three all-around gold medalists will compete head-to-head.

Collectively, the trio have won the last three Olympic all-around competitions, with Lee being the reigning champion from 2021. The three have also won a combined 13 Olympic medals, eight of them being gold.

The Core Hydration Classic will take place from May 17-18 and tickets for Saturday’s competition can be purchased on Ticketmaster.
