2 injured in Harrisburg shootout: police

Police responded to the 1300 block of North 15th St. around 2:15 p.m. after hearing a report of shots fired.

A man and a teenager were injured in a Sunday afternoon shootout between two groups of people in Harrisburg, police said.

Gunfire was exchanged around 2:15 p.m. Sunday on the 1300 block of North 15th Street, according to police Capt. Terry Wealand.

Wealand said a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Neither victim is cooperating with the police investigation, according to police.

Police said one person involved in the incident was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm.

No arrests have been made as of Monday.
