Pair charged in connection to Milford area shooting
MILFORD, Del. – Police have arrested two people, including a juvenile, following a shots fired incident that happened earlier this month. At around 11 p.m. on April 8th, officers responded to Silver Lake Estates and Reserves at Sawmill after receiving reports of shots fired. It was determined that multiple rounds were fired, damaging several apartments on the two properties.

The shooting death of a 25-year-old in Dover Sunday morning resulted in the retaliatory shooting death of a 15-year-old later that same day, court documents reveal. Despite the arrest of a suspect in the first shooting, the suspect arrested in the second shooting told police it was in retaliation for the first, according to his warrant and Dover Police Department spokesperson Ryan Schmid.
Car Crashes into Georgetown Business, Serious Injuries Reported
GEORGETOWN, DE - The Georgetown Police Department says two people have been seriously injured after a car crashed into a business Thursday. According to police, officers responded to reports of a crash on Layton Ave just before 8:15 a.m. on April 18th. Upon arrival, police found a vehicle had crashed into a business. One person inside the business at the time of the crash was struck, police say. That victim, as well as the driver of the vehicle, were both taken to a nearby hospital for serious injuries.
Police searching for Laurel man wanted in connection to numerous incidents
LAUREL, Del. – Laurel Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted on multiple capiases. According to police, 33-year-old Jamar Archer has been involved in more than 10 separate complaints since August 2023, ranging from thefts to trespassing in the Laurel and Seaford areas. He was recently released on a court-monitored probation sentence. He was reportedly arrested in a neighboring jurisdiction for theft involving a victim over the age of 62, and since his arrest, he has allegedly failed to comply with his probation conditions and failed to appear for a recent court date in Sussex County.
Police arrest Bridgeville man for selling stolen car
BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – A Bridgeville man has been charged after police say he sold a stolen car. On April 12th, troopers were called to investigate a reported vehicle theft from a property in the 4600 block of Dublin Hill Road in Bridgeville. It was learned that the victim’s gray 2004 Ford Taurus had been parked on his friend’s property with the friend’s permission since 2021. The previous day, the victim found that the car was no longer on the property, and his friend, identified as 66-year-old Henry Williams, could not provide the whereabouts of the car.
Shots fired toward parked occupied vehicle in Dover
Dover Police are investigating the source of gunshots that were directed at an occupied parked vehicle. The shots were reported Monday afternoon at about 2:01 p.m. in the 400-block of East Water Street in Capital Green. An investigation determined that three or four people came out of a vehicle and opened fire before getting back into an SUV and leaving the scene.

Police are searching for 32-year-old Frank Montgomery, who we’re told is wanted for multiple felony offenses stemming from a burglary that took place in the last month at a residence in Georgetown. Police say Frank has been driving a dark gray Ford F-150 with Delaware temporary registration XF398605.
