Deputies with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office were called out to Harpertown after a deformed-looking bear tried entering a home. A Bridgeport man was among 21 individuals indicted by the May 2024 term of the Barbour County Grand Jury, in information from Prosecuting Attorney Andrew Phillips’ office. According to the information available, Gerry Lee Loudin, 69,of Bridgeport was one of the nearly two dozen indicted. Loudin was indicted for the financial exploitation of an elderly person.
