Police have arrested and charged three suspects in connection to a stabbing in Edgewood on Friday evening.
On June 2, 2023, at approximately 9:00PM, patrol deputies responded to the 1600 block of Swallow Crest Drive in Edgewood for the report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, deputies located a male, identified as William Merrill McKinney, 39, of Edgewood, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper body.
Deputies immediately began life-saving efforts on McKinney. Medics arrived and continued treatment before McKinney was airlifted to a local trauma center where he has been listed in critical but stable condition.
Detectives canvased the areas around Swallow Crest Drive throughout the evening for witnesses and are working to establish suspect and a motive in the case. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to the area to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation.
Through initial investigation, detectives believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public at this time.
Detectives have identified and charged several suspects.
Tremayne Foster, 25 from Edgewood was charged with first and second degree assault and attempted second degree murder.
Daniel Mason, 34, from Edgewood, was charged with first and second degree assault, attempted second degree murder, armed robbery, and robbery
Tyron Brown-White, 33 from Nottingham was charged with first and second degree assault, attempted second degree murder
All three suspects are being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center.
The victim, William Merrill McKinney is expected to survive his injuries.
