Irish retail chain Primark opening first Maryland store
An Irish retail chain known for its affordability is opening its first Maryland location this summer.Primark, which is owned by London-based Associated British Foods PLC, is set to open a store in Hanover’s Arundel Mills Mall within the next few months, the chain announced Tuesday. The international retail chain, which was founded in 1969, is making a push into the U.S. market and currently has 17 stores operating in seven states.The Hanover store will occupy 36,000 square feet of space inside the mall at 7000 Arundel Mills Circle. The retail chain sells women's, men's and children’s clothes along with accessories, beauty products and home goods.
