Memorial Day crowds kick off first major weekend for Hampton Beach businesses

Memorial Day crowds kick off first major weekend for Hampton Beach businesses
The sun is out, the crowds are back and summer business is here at Hampton Beach. Jared Hoss is from New York, but this memorial day he's joining in on his friend's annual beach trip to New Hampshire. We've been here for *** few hours hoping to go up and down the boardwalk for some time and just enjoy in the sun with the Mets hat on. He may not root for the right team in Red Sox territory. I like the Red Sox hate the Yankees, but he's sold on Hampton Beach. I'm just enjoying fun in the sun. Visitors like Jared are welcome guests after *** long winter without much business. What's nice is with all the things we're doing. People are coming from *** lot further away than they used to. Now, we have many people coming from upstate New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut and they have *** lot of beaches in some of those states, but they love Hampton Beach and on the unofficial start of summer, the beach and the boardwalk are packed. I think we're going to get some ice cream, play at the arcade and have some fun with thousands of people arriving in town and staffing still short. Hampton police say they call extra help from some of the surrounding towns. They've been working day and night extremely hard this weekend to make sure that, you know, the town of Hampton is safe and that we ensure the safety and security for all that. Everybody that lives here and everyone that's visited here. But so far they say no major problems, nothing crazy, nothing out of the ordinary. Just people enjoying what makes the granite state great. Why not go to the beach from Hampton Beach, aerial metropolis. W muir News nine?
