Louisiana man sentenced to 25 years in jail for beating, robbing elderly man
LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — A Denham Springs man was sentenced to 25 years in prison at hard labor in connection with the beating and robbing of an 87-year-old man. According to 21st Judicial District Attorney Scott Perrilloux, John Francis Bailey, 52, pleaded guilty to armed robbery, aggravated second-degree battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
