Missing teen camper found safe as Hamilton County rescue effort deploys Thursday morning

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. —
The search for a missing camper at Harrison Bay State Park in Hamilton County was called off after he was found safe.

A Harrison Bay State Park Ranger tells NewsChannel9 a group of local teens were camping when one of them went an accounted for about 11:30 Wednesday night.
Thst's when the ranger mobilized a search effort with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
The effort included members of the Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department, the Hamilton County Special Tactics and Rescue Services who deployed a mobile command unit at the boat dock.
ATVs, UTVs, boats and a drone were readied for the search when it was called off about two A-M.
All of the teen campers were accounted for and safe.

There were no reports of injuries.
