Student charged in Hixson Middle School threat case

HIXSON, Tennessee (WDEF) – Hamilton County authorities are investigating another school threat incident following the Nashville shooting.

Today, the case happened at Hixson Middle School.

An Assistant Principal informed the School Resource Deputy that several students and staff had complained about an overheard conversation.

The SRD and staff found the student.

They say the student confessed to saying “That [pronoun] planned on doing a Nashville at Hixson Middle School” in front of other students.

The student will be charged with “Threat of Mass Violence on School Property or School-Related Activity.”
