19-year-old arrested on drug, firearm charges
HALLETTSVILLE, Texas - Hallettsville police arrested a 19-year-old woman early Thursday morning for possession of marijuana and unlawful carry of a weapon. On Thursday, at approximately 2:41 a.m., a Hallettsville police officer stopped a vehicle in the 800 block of E. Fourth St. for a traffic violation. Ultimately, the officer conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and located .070 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a 9 millimeter handgun.
Fire in Shiner Wednesday night
SHINER, Texas - It took about two hours to put out a fire in Shiner Wednesday night. The Shiner Fire Department responded to RanchHand, a truck accessory plant, for a fire in a piece of equipment late Wednesday night. The fire was contained to one piece of equipment in the sandblasting area. Firefighters took about two hours to put out the fire.
Hallettsville Police take into custody El Campo man on felony arrest warrant
HALLETTSVILLE, Texas - Hallettsville Police take a man into custody after a traffic violation. Tuesday afternoon at a traffic stop in the 1400 block of East Fourth Street, Hallettsville Police took into custody 21-year-old Michael Anthony Garcia from El Campo.
MAN CHARGED IN FAYETTE CO. ROAD RAGE INCIDENT
A Houston man is in Fayette County custody after a road rage incident on I-10 on Sunday. Around 10 a.m., Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputy Herman Olvera responded to a report of a handgun being shot out the window of a new model Ford Edge traveling eastbound on I-10. Olvera located and stopped the vehicle near Schulenburg, with assistance from Schulenburg police and DPS.
