HALE CENTER, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns (9-10, 0-5) traveled to face the Hale Center Lady Owls on Tuesday in a district game.
The Lady Horns would strike first, going up 6-0 in the first two innings, however, the Lady Owls would respond with six runs in the bottom of the second to tie the game at six.
Hale Center would score the leading run in the third to go up 7-6.
Lockney would regain the lead in the top of the sixth inning after scoring two runs.
In the bottom of the sixth, the Lady Owls would score a run to tie the game again at 8.
The game would extend to the ninth inning, and in the top of the ninth, the Lady Horns scored the go-ahead run to take the lead 9-8.
The Lady Owls would rally in the bottom of the ninth and score two runs to secure the victory over the Lady Horns, 10-9.
