A Hagerstown woman who chose to go by the nickname "Happy Dog Groomer," has won $2 million through a Maryland Lottery scratch-off game. The lottery allows winners to remain anonymous.

She told the gaming agency a lucky penny she found lying heads up on her front steps played a role in her winning.

After winning $100 on another scratch-off ticket, she noticed the heads-up penny and knew it was lucky. She decided to use her winning instant ticket to buy a $30 Cash is King ticket, according to a lottery news release.
