TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The new CEO of the East Texas Food Bank was announced Monday afternoon. David Emerson will be the food bank’s sixth CEO in their 35-year history. This follows the retirement of current CEO Dennis Cullinane, who will step down at the end of June, after 13 years of service.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler man has been arrested for allegedly laundering money by use of bad checks he wrote to his girlfriend in Sept. 2022. Rashaun Hendren, 31, is accused of working together with his girlfriend to commit fraud after it was reportedly found that she was cashing bad checks written by Hendren. An arrest document said that Hendren had written six checks to the woman on Sept. 9, 2022 varying from $350 to $1,350, all noted as being for “rent.” The total reported amount of the checks was $4,050, but it was found that Hendren’s checking account contained much less than this.

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A man has been arrested in the homicide case of a Tyler woman who was reported missing several months ago. According to a press release by the Tyler Police Department, an arrest warrant for Jesse Lee Williams, 40, of Tatum, was obtained Tuesday and he subsequently was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshal’s Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force. Williams is accused of the murder of Paula Belonga, who was reported missing back in April.
