Sebec dog rescue begins Preserve & Provide food program
SEBEC--A dog shelter in Sebec is looking to expand its services in a way you might never imagine. Instead of just rescuing canines from kill shelters, Give a Dog a Home Rescue is going one step further. The nonprofit is looking to start a freeze dry food program called 'Preserve & Provide' that will benefit pets and people.
Statewide Gun Giveback event promotes gun safety, recycles guns into something new
FALMOUTH (WGME) - Unused and unwanted firearms are being turned into local police departments as part of a statewide Gun Giveback effort. Gun safety advocates and law enforcement hope this will reduce gun violence. Sixteen police departments here in Maine, including Falmouth, are safely disposing of unwanted guns and ammunition.
