By Bethany Bruner, Columbus Dispatch,
Interstate 270 is closed in southern Franklin County after a tractor-trailer overturned Tuesday morning, prompting a haz-mat situation.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. Tuesday on I-270 near the Interstate 71 interchange.
The tractor-trailer is in the median area of the highway. The tractor-trailer may have been hauling hazardous materials. Crews have shut down the highway to handle the hazardous materials.
Interstate 270 is closed at U.S. 62 in Grove City in both directions. I-270 is also closed at State Route 23 in both directions. All ramps from Interstate 71 to Interstate 270 in both directions are closed as well.

The highway is expected to be closed for several hours.
