Lady Gators Advance in Softball State Tournament with Murray Magic
Lexington, KY. – The Greenwood Lady Gators met with Mercy in the first round of the 2023 High School Softball State Tournament.
The Lady Gators were led by senior Kayden Murray who pitched nine shutout innings with 19 strikeouts.
In a scoreless ballgame heading into the bottom of the ninth, another Murray had something to say as well, crushing a two-run homerun over the left field wall winning it in dramatic fashion.
The Lady Gators advance in the State Tournament with a 2-0 win and will be back in action on Saturday.
