Two arrests have been announced following a fatal weekend shooting in the Upstate.
Deontay Lynch was found dead Friday, shot to death at the Day’s Inn and Suites on Roper Mountain Road in Greenville.
A weekend investigation led to the identification of two suspects, and warrants were put out for their arrests through the assistance of the Ridgeland Police Department and the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.
Both 21-year-old Joeanna Isabela Badger and 20-year-old Devonte Tyrese Orr were arrested in Jasper County on charges of Murder, 1st-degree Burglary and Conspiracy. Orr was also charged with Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime.
