LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The jury reached a guilty verdict Wednesday in the trial for the suspect who killed a Fountain Inn woman more than two years ago. Billie Jean Cross, 58, was reported missing by her family on Dec. 10, 2021. Four days later, deputies found Cross’s body in a wooded area of Starr, 40 miles away from her home.
