Spencer, IA (KICD) — A Greenville woman was injured after the bike she was riding was struck by a car.

The Clay County Sheriffs Office released details on the August 15th accident, in the 2000 mile of 440th Street. 59-yr old Mary Fairchild was riding a Trek bicycle east, and was then struck by a 2017 Cadillac CTS, driven by 42-yr old Lisa Krieger of Rossie.

Fairchild lost control of the bike, which crashed on the pavement. She received injuries, but the severity was not known.
