Expect more heat, humidity over next couple days

(WGHP) — Heat and humidity will slowly increase on Thursday and Friday.

We’ll see mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies Thursday with lows in the middle 60s and highs in the upper 80s.

Friday will be a hot and humid day. Under mostly sunny skies, our lows will be in the middle 60s and highs in the lower 90s. Our heat index could be in the middle 90s. Practice heat safety on Friday. Take lots of breaks in the shade and stay hydrated. Inside, use your air conditioning or fan.

A weak cold front will bring our temperatures down just a little on Saturday. Look for mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 80s.

Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s.

It will be partly cloudy Monday with highs near 90 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the lower 90s.

Rain chances for the next seven days will be very low.
