Greene County Community Foundation

A reminder that tomorrow will be the grant award ceremony for the Greene County Community Foundation.

The event will take place at 4pm at the Presbyterian Church in Jefferson. GCCF President Karen Shannon tells Raccoon Valley Radio they funded 24 of the 32 project requests for a total of $214,903. The community foundation handled grant applications of less than $35,000, while Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation, the non-profit gaming license holder of Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Jefferson, took care of projects that were $35,000 or more.
