Even though Aaron Rodgers has not yet been officially traded from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets, the star quarterback has made it very clear he intends to play next season in New York, and even wide receiver Allen Lazard is talking as if Rodgers’ move to the Jets is a done deal.

Allen Lazard signed with the Jets this week, presumably in an effort by the team to help lure Aaron Rodgers. And during his introductory press conference with the team on Friday morning, he couldn’t help but talk about how excited he is to with Rodgers in New York.

“It feels good that 12 is going to be my quarterback again,” Lazard said in his press conference according to a video shared by SNY Jets.

It’s clear that Lazard has high hopes for the Jets once they are able to bring in Rodgers.

“I think with Aaron Rodgers as quarterback, the possibility of wins is always a thing,” Lazard said. “With that being said, it’s really the Super Bowl. Especially at this point in his career. … His caliber of play automatically elevates everybody’s potential and abilities on the field immediately.”

It’s safe to say that Jets fans are likely pretty excited about these updates.
