CMR sophomore, Grant Brumwell, has been chosen to serve as an ambassador for the Shriners Children's Open PGA Tour event in October. Brumwell, a native of Great Falls, was selected from the Shriners Children's Hospital in Spokane and will carry the golfers' scores, allowing him to walk with some of the best professional golfers globally. The Montana State University-Northern men’s golf team competed at Meadowlark Country Club in Great Falls this past Monday and Tuesday. After two rounds of competition, the Lights men finished in fifth place with an aggregate score of +289. Rocky Mountain College ended up taking home the crown, being the only team in the field to shoot under par at -12.

Quarterback Kellen Harrison accounted for three touchdowns as the Bozeman High football team moved past Great Falls High 35-7 Friday night at Memorial Stadium. Harrison ran for two second-half touchdowns, the first from 14 yards out putting the Hawks up in complete command at 28-0 in the Eastern AA contest.

GREAT FALLS, Mont. - The Class AA "Main Event" of Week 4 featured the undefeated Bozeman Hawks on the road to take on the 2-1 Great Falls High Bison. Early turnovers for the Bison made easy work for the Hawks as they scored 28 unanswered points before Great Falls High finally found the endzone.

Wolf Point’s football squad accounted for an outstanding effort in the second half, but the Wolves fell at home against Fairfield by a 26-14 final on Friday, Sept. 8. The Wolves trailed by an 18-0 margin. Fairfield’s firsthalf touchdowns came on a one-yard run by Banner Mc-Coy, a 52-yard fumble recovery by McCoy and a 37-yard pass play from Israel Perez to Allen Myles. It took strong defensive plays from Wolf Point’s defense to keep the margin at 18 points, those plays included a fourth-down sack by Lennox Lilley near midfield.
