CMR sophomore, Grant Brumwell, has been chosen to serve as an ambassador for the Shriners Children's Open PGA Tour event in October. Brumwell, a native of Great Falls, was selected from the Shriners Children's Hospital in Spokane and will carry the golfers' scores, allowing him to walk with some of the best professional golfers globally. MSU-N Golf Results At Argo Tournament
The Montana State University-Northern men’s golf team competed at Meadowlark Country Club in Great Falls this past Monday and Tuesday. After two rounds of competition, the Lights men finished in fifth place with an aggregate score of +289. Rocky Mountain College ended up taking home the crown, being the only team in the field to shoot under par at -12.
Harrington wins Butte XC Invite, Great Falls High second
Ryan Harrington topped the field and the Great Falls High cross country team placed four in the top 20 overall to take second as a team Friday at the Butte Invite. Harrington crossed the finish line in the 5k race in 15:22.90, while teammate John Spinti was fourth at 15:46.30.
