UPDATE: ODOT is reporting one southbound lane and both northbound lanes are closed, due to the crash that occurred six miles south of Grants Pass, at mile point 5.4. This will be an extended closure.
A northbound detour has been established using Redwood Ave. from Helms Rd. (accessed at OR-199 MP 6.5) to US-199 north of the crash scene.

The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is warning drivers to steer clear of US-199.

Traffic is anticipated to be delayed anywhere between 20 minutes to 2-hours, according to TripCheck. Both southbound lanes and one northbound lane have been closed, according to ODOT. Northbound traffic has a detour at Helms Road to Redwood Avenue.
