Where the good news shines

The Colorado Mesa sports information department was voted the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference J.W. Campbell/Con Marshall sports information department of the year Tuesday.

The Mavs' sports information team closed out an incredible year of coverage while also hosting 11 sports in RMAC postseason play.

The team is made up of assistant athletic director of communications Dave Jahnke, sports information assistant Chris Day and sports information graduate assistant Paxton Ritchey.

The J.W. Campbell/Con Marshall sports information department of the year award marks the third all-time for the Colorado Mesa staff and the first since the 2020-21.
