    Did the Graham ISD bond pass?

    YOUNG COUNTY ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Young County voters had the chance to approve two Graham ISD bonds related to improving school and athletic facilities for Graham ISD.

    The bond is split into two parts, Proposition A and B, totaling $38 million if both pass.

    Proposition A allows the district $27.5 million to renovate, construct, or acquire new school facilities and safety and security equipment.

    A majority of voters living within Young County voted against Proposition A.

    • FOR Proposition A: 708 votes or 43.9%
    • AGAINST Proposition A: 903 votes 56.05%

    The second portion of the bond, Proposition B, allowed the district $10.5 million for a new student multipurpose facility.

    • FOR Proposition B: 549 votes or 34.06%
    • AGAINST Proposition B: 1,063 votes or 65.94%
