Stutsman began serving as Goshen’s youngest mayor in 2016, after serving on its city council for 8 years before that.
The 44-year-old Stutsman says he is removing his name from the ballot for reelection.
A city spokesperson says they’ll have more information tomorrow regrading how Stutsman’s term will be filled.
Having worked in construction and renovation before being mayor, Stutsman says his attention will now focus on the need for housing in Elkhart County, which he says has become obvious over the last several years.
