The Metro Nashville Police Department’s Mounted Patrol Division is organizing their annual Christmas Basket Program at the Nashville Zoo on December 2 and 3. This charity drive encourages visitors to donate new toys for needy families during the holiday season. In return, the Zoo is providing free admission tickets for every new toy donated, limited to two tickets per family. The toys will be collected by the police officers in the Zoo's parking lot from 9 am to 2:30 pm.
