Auburn man arrested for burglary at Nevada Union High School
An Auburn man was arrested Nov. 29 in connection to a burglary at Nevada Union High School in Grass Valley. A school custodian reported an unidentified man inside secured areas of the campus around 11 p.m. Nov. 28 and provided a description of the individual, according to the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office. When confronted by the custodian, the individual, identified as Isaac Andrew Larson, 23, fled on foot and left the school parking lot in his registered vehicle.

New Murals Approved for Truckee River Trail: A Showcase of North Lake Tahoe's Art and Heritage
The Placer County Board of Supervisors has approved a proposal for two murals on the Truckee River Trail, under the Truckee River Bridge. The proposal came from the nonprofit Fox Cultural Hall, which has served the North Lake Tahoe region for nearly forty years.
